Employee of the Month, June 2018
Congratulations to The Contact Company’s Employee of the Month for the month of June, Thomas Buckley.
Thomas is a Customer Service Advisor on a busy financial services campaign. Last month, the campaign experienced an unusual and sudden systems outage. During this time, Thomas was the only one with access to a computer with systems access. Contact Centre Manager, Lisa Smith, explains further…
“Thomas has received some fantastic feedback from the CEO of the campaign after a system outage effected the whole workforce, with the exception of Tom; no-one else could login. Tom tried to single-handedly deal with the 120 calls that were queuing!”
The CEO of the campaign sent Tom a bottle of champagne to thank him, accompanied by this message: “Thomas, I was up at The Contact Company on the 12th June and everyone was talking about your heroics- being the only one available on the floor when 120 people were in the queue and you were still taking calls!”
The Contact Company CEO, Asif Hamid MBE, also took the time to thank and congratulate Thomas: “You faced 120 difficult, queuing telephone calls without a single colleague to assist you. Unfazed by this significant challenge, you continued to complete your role with professionalism and grace. Conducting yourself in this manner is a testament to your diligence, resilience and focus.
I know that the client is equally impressed with you; the CEO himself has since taken the time to contact us to state how pleased he is that you are on his campaign. You are a credit to yourself, The Contact Company and the campaign. I could not ask for more from you.”
